1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the website at khumkron.sbs and to any services provided by Khumkrong Rak. They are governed by the laws of Thailand.
Khumkrong Rak is a pension legal services practice with its place of business at 84 Thanon Si Donchai, Chang Khlan, Mueang, Chiang Mai 50100, Thailand.
By browsing this website or making an enquiry about our services, you are accepting these Terms. If you would prefer to discuss any aspect of them before proceeding, you are welcome to contact us.
2. Our Services
We offer the following pension legal services:
Pension Clarity Session
฿2,490A relaxed session to help you understand your pension entitlements and the choices in front of you, explained in plain language. Includes a written summary. This is offered as a gentle first step with no expectation of further commitment.
Records & Submission Support
฿5,000Patient assistance in gathering, checking, and preparing the records and submissions a pension matter requires. Every step is explained clearly. Suited to those who find official paperwork tiring.
Extended Pension Support
฿8,600Ongoing legal support for involved or long-running pension matters, including liaison with relevant bodies and representation where needed. Scope and costs are agreed openly in advance, with regular updates throughout.
The scope of any service engagement will be agreed in writing before work begins. Where additional work becomes necessary, we will discuss this with you before proceeding.
3. Engaging Our Services
A service engagement begins when both parties have agreed in writing to its scope and fee. Making an initial enquiry, attending a consultation, or submitting a contact form does not of itself create a binding engagement.
We will provide you with a written summary of the agreed work and its cost before any chargeable work begins. You are welcome to take time to consider this before confirming.
We reserve the right to decline to take on a matter if we assess that we are not the right practice to assist with it, in which case we will endeavour to point you in a helpful direction.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. The fees listed on our website are indicative and refer to standard engagements; the agreed fee for your matter will be confirmed in writing before work begins.
Payment terms will be set out in the engagement agreement. Where a deposit is required, it will be clearly stated in advance.
If a matter becomes more complex than anticipated, we will notify you promptly and agree on any revised scope or fee before continuing.
5. Your Responsibilities
To allow us to assist you effectively, we ask that you:
- Provide accurate and complete information when requested, to the best of your knowledge.
- Let us know promptly if your circumstances change in a way that may be relevant to your matter.
- Keep copies of any documents you provide to us.
- Respond to our communications within a reasonable time so that your matter can progress.
If information you have provided turns out to be materially inaccurate, we may need to revise our advice or the scope of the engagement, and we will discuss this with you openly.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our advice is specific to your matter and the information you have provided. It should not be treated as a general statement of law applicable to other situations.
While we take care to ensure the accuracy of our advice and the quality of our work, outcomes in pension matters depend on many factors outside our control, including decisions by pension authorities and the completeness of records available. We make no representations about the outcome of any matter.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Thai law.
7. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential. We will not disclose details of your matter to any third party without your consent, except where required to do so by law or regulation.
We ask that you likewise treat any written advice, documents, or other materials we provide as confidential to your matter and not share them in ways that could mislead others.
8. Cancellation and Withdrawal
You may withdraw from a service engagement at any time by writing to us. We will invoice for work completed up to the point of withdrawal, calculated at the agreed rate. Any unearned prepayments will be returned promptly.
We may also bring an engagement to a close in exceptional circumstances, for example if continuing would create a conflict of interest or if a material factor means we can no longer act in your best interests. In such cases, we will give you reasonable notice and assist with any handover that is practicable.
There is no fee for simply making an enquiry or for an initial Pension Clarity Session that you decide not to proceed beyond.
